Hi Miguel, GREAT resource. I like the focus on content, because I’m not sure I had the best content in what I put together (the blogfolio, the movie). I think they are nice examples of form, but they might not have been the best content-wise. I was experimenting with the tools. I hope it gives people some ideas. I think the thing that the folks who saw this thought was, she does know technology which was important for a computer lab teacher. I was saddened that I got no interviews for regular classroom positions based on my portfolio. I did leave off CDs with the WMV file and a note to pop it in a windows computer (most schools are on Windows based machines here). I think that how I used technology made me a good teacher, but I wonder if the focus on testing, and on tech being for the computer lab, made them compartmentalize my application? — A. Mercer (Liz)
Hi Miguel, Thank you for providing this resource for our class, as well as others seeking information on ePortfolios. I have had an ePortfolio for several years now, but realize that it lacks some important components and organization. Thank you for inspiring me to update it and post it online instead of on CD. I’ll be sure to Twitter the link when I get it posted! — Porter Palmer
